May 2026
Hello, my dear friend,
I'm just back from weeding a bit in the garden. I kept hearing that weeding is a form of meditation and a wonderful way to clear your head, and I can confirm it's true for me too. I always step lighter and wear a smile after working in the garden. Also, the variety of shapes that weed leaves come in is fascinating. Big, small, long, round, curly — and a zillion shades of green, with even some purple and red. I pressed and sketched some as well!
This past month I also finished work on my collection! It's called "The Prince and the Golden Apples" and I made a page on my website to present it nicely. You can view it here. Below are some of the patterns.
This collection is available through Spoonflower and Redbubble.
Sketchbook
I have to admit that the big sketchbook is getting too big for me… I think I will move back to a smaller size, maybe A5. But I will first finish this one!
I have already started work on a second collection and the plan is to have it ready by the end of July.
I’ll keep you posted next month on my progress.
Till then, enjoy the long warm days!
